In November 2015 the MILL opened its doors to students, staff, faculty, and anyone interested in exploring learning through making. Located in the second floor of the School of\u00a0Education, the MILL&#8217;s\u00a0glass walls transparently display its\u00a0colorful high- and low-tech materials, and\u00a0the daylight-flooded\u00a0space invites everyone to explore\u00a0the space.\u00a0The MILL\u00a0was designed based on principles of transparency, openness, mobility, and pliability that were observed by\u00a0studying material artifacts in other spaces\u00a0(see <a href=\"http:\/\/creativitylabs.com\/pubs\/2015_Keune-Gomoll-Peppler_FlexLearn-MatArtifacts_FabLearn.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"
