Make Innovate Learn Lab (MILL) in December 2017
The Make Innovate Learn Lab (MILL) is a makerspace of the School of Education at Indiana University. In November 2015 the MILL opened its doors to students, staff, faculty, and anyone interested in exploring learning through making. Located in the second floor of the School of Education, the MILL’s glass walls transparently display its colorful high- and low-tech materials, and the daylight-flooded space invites everyone to explore the space. The MILL was designed based on principles of transparency, openness, mobility, and pliability that were observed by studying material artifacts in other spaces (see Keune, Gomoll, & Peppler, 2015).
