The Children’s Museum of Houston, November 2016: Chevron Maker Annex

The three story tall Children’s Museum of Houston, TX, is home of the Chevron Maker Annex, which is located in the lower level of the museum. The Chevron Maker Annex is a drop-in space and open for scheduled demonstrations and step-by-step workshops for visitors to explore state-of-the-art tools and materials, including a 3D printer, laser cutter, and electronic hand tools. Featured projects include light-up robots and laser-cut wooden boxes. Serving bi-lingual communities, the space features inspirational all around the upper edges of the walls in English and in Spanish.
